July 20, 2007 - Brought to the Kane Jeebus in Seattle.
Really lovely bottle of Condrieu that opened some eyes tonight.
Restrained nose of pit fruit, lots of peach and tangerine flavors and something almost tropical.
Its still lithe with a great acidic lift on the finish.
Not too perfumy or cloying, and not f'd up with wood. -

June 12, 2007 - Really lovely wine. Violet and other florals, pear, and some melon fruit. In the mouth the fruit is framed with taut racy acids, and a long finish. First few whiffs had some coconut (oak? ) that left pretty quickly. Becomes more mineral and even grassy as it opens. Yum.

July 8, 2006 - The Usual Suspects taste 2004 Condrieu: Those nose was initially reticient and not showing much at all. In contrast to the rest of the wines, this showed notes of green apple more than stone fruits such as pears or peaches. A very nice wine, this was so different from others that I wondered if it was one of the two ringers. Oh, well...
