January 11, 2020 - Ame means soul and this is the top of the Neyer's line. It opens nicely after a 2-hour decant. Nice mixture of fruit and earth, about 60-40. We had it with a sturdy pasta dish and would do it again. This wine just got better and better as the bottle emptied. Nice, smooth, round finish.

July 31, 2017 - Lush and delightful fruit, with balance and silky tannins. A long finish that just accentuates the lushness. Blackberry, blueberry, vanilla and dried pine mulch. So much personality and quite inviting, yet shows the structure needed to age. Drink 2018 - 2033.

July 3, 2017 - Neyers Tasting Visit - 7/1/17: Aromas of graphite-mineral, currant, violets, spices and tobacco. Broad and complex palate with open black fruit and tight secondary depth. Silky broad tannins and full depth and length on the finish.

May 24, 2016 - Wine Warehouse Pre Event 2016 Spring Tastings, nose of dusty earth, cranberry, blackberry, same on the palate, richer than the 2013, more taste and more mouth filling, long finish.
