October 23, 2023 - Not a “bad” wine by any means, but also the opposite of what I would call a crowd pleaser. Massive austere tannins, didn’t really soften even after 24h decanting. Glad I tried this, especially because I picked it up at the Athens airport, but not something I would seek out again.

March 13, 2022 - From 75cl, good cork, decanted 2 hours. Rose-petal/ rose-water scent, reminiscent of a mature Nebbiolo, but follwed by a hefty wave of pine-resin; bone-dry entry with serious, hard, drying tannins immediately evident; mid-palate has dark, ripe fruit but no sugar, and tons of aromatic dried woodland mushrooms and appropriate spices (perhaps like a cross between some fictive superconcentrated 500 EUR Barolo I will never pay for—opened 10 years before maturity—and a dried-out, high-altitude, high-mineral Syrah). Shortish, muscular, brusque finish. We got a real kick out of this bottle, and are glad to have one more in the cellar to try in about 5–10 years time. But I can well imagine it not being of wide appeal. 89–90

January 24, 2019 - Didn't like this on this showing. Nose somewhat closed. Palate very chalky tannins and the fruit is leathery and a little tarry. Clumsily large-scale without substance to fill it. Anonymous quality of fruit. Not long. Tough to drink. 85+
