January 22, 2024 - Deep amber. Med(+) aromas of caramel, maple syrup, almond, walnut, dried orange, candied lemon, dried peach, ripe yellow apple, vanilla, mocha. Medium sweet, high alcohol, med(+) acidity, full body, long finish. Complex and fairly long finish. Well balanced though alcohol feels a bit high. Tasty. 91/92

February 7, 2023 - A PX sweetened Palo Cortado aged for 30 years.
Toothsome and complex, with flavours of toffee, raisins caramel and nuts. Medium-dry and never cloying, it’s nicely balanced by a bitter twist developing superbly on the palate through to an impressive lingering finish. CHP 91pts -

Medium nose of honey, dried fig, dried apricot, ripe plum, roasted walnuts, roasted hazelnuts, toffee, chocolate, espresso, leather
Off Dry, medium acidity, high alcohol (20%), full body (fuller than Amontillado as more time spent in oxidative ageing and more concentration of ageing process components) , pronounced intensity, long finish
The acid balances that residual sugar very nicely. Intensity and length are ideal and shows wonderful complexity, Outstanding quality wine which is not going to improve with ageing,

August 3, 2019 - Amazing stuff. Slight residual sugar just enough to soften the richness from aged PC. Great wine.
