  July 25, 2018 - When tasted alongside a 1991 St Clement and a 1999 Joseph Phelps, this one was crushed rather easily. This did have some happy-go-lucky chalky Blackberry on the front with a hint of nuttiness in the middle and good tannin on the finish with a hint of black pepper and baking spice. But for the most part this wine was pretty blah. Almost had a generic-ness to it. Maybe it was just the day or that the 1991 and 1999 were drinking so well that this one just got squeezed out. Would like to taste this one by itself in a year with a good bacon-wrapped ribeye!

  May 13, 2018 - Dark purplish ruby red in appearance. A bit tight on the nose to start with some cinnamon, dark spices and dark fruits. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Restrained dark berries throughout on the palate with some dark gravel and baking spices. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2023.

  April 3, 2018 - PnP - rounded straight from the bottle. Nose is muted as is fruit overall. I wonder if it is shut down or this is normal?
