  Lovely ligt ruby red color. Ready to go, nothing unresolved here. Light body, notes of mature red fruit. Very good length and balance. Definitely shows terroir. My only concern is a certain lack of depth of flavor; when I drink a wine like this, I'm always thinking how much better the 1er or grand cru might be...

  November 15, 2017 - Really love this producer's style which feels very hands off and transparent. Terroir driven and like eating grapes from the vine. Translucent bright red color. Spice & fruit aromas. Sappy, tart rainier cherry, earth, shrooms, mineral and spice abound on energetic weightless frame. Exceedingly balanced & pure. A lip smacking tasty Burg /PN. Only way this is any better than it is today is a little more bottle age to reveal more tertiary flavors and aroma.

  July 31, 2017 - Poured from Coravin....initial impression, jumps out of the glass while pouring, noticeable wood, fresh, cool and dark fruit. Fruiting hiding a bit, but you can tell there is alot there. Opens up to more dark fruit, dirt and mushrooms, sappy dark fruit. Rich & chewy, but a notiable elegance that I rarely find in village Aloxe; this is a great expression. 2014 treated Rollin very well.
