  November 6, 2017 - Opened 90 minutes prior to drinking. Easy drinking. Paired with Pasta Bolognese. Note that this wine wouldn't win any prizes for being best in show, but good QPR and pleasant mouthfeel made it great with a tomato based pasta sauce. We will see with the other two bottles I have.

  September 24, 2017 - Interesting wine. Consumed at dinner at a friends so no notes. Fairly muted nose, but maybe just in contrast to the palate, which was loaded with intense berry. Low on tannins. Not as complex as a good Amarone, which is not one of my favorite styles to begin with. As noted, interesting but not sure I'd want to sit down with a bottle of it. Really at a loss to predict aging potential, but I'm guessing not a lot of improvement in the cellar. This is worth a go considering the low price.
