September 16, 2023 - Cherry, earth, dark spices. Medium framed, with some adequate complexity on the somewhat imprecise palate. Decent length here, with integrated tannins. Overall looking just ok tonight.

January 24, 2022 - Pop/pour. Earthy mellow red fruit, hint of warm spice. Palate has a touch of sweet earth with the same easy mellow red fruit that persists into a lengthy finish. Lovely stuff.

March 25, 2018 - Tokyo Visit; 3/22/2018-3/25/2018: Purchased off list at Ginza Kojyu restaurant.
Decanted for 1 hour. Amazing earthy complex nose with soft red fruit. Palate had the fruit and earth floor carry forward, mixed with good acidic balance. So easy to drink. Great value for a GC as well.

September 27, 2017 - SLDS October 2017: Blind. Stalks, undergrowth, earth, raspberry and toast. Good composure on the palate, has powerful fruit but good tannins to hold the structure in place. Good texture and weight, this has plenty of potential.

June 7, 2014 - Solid wine of class and elegance, without being fantastic. Red fruits, cherry, touch of red currant. Nice intensity and drive through to a leanish finish. There not a great deal of complexity here. The following day, there was a little more 'fat', in that it seemed to put on a little weight in the palate, which was pleasing. So maybe more time will be of benefit?
