June 16, 2016 - Floral, creamy, rich on the nose with wonderfully expressive, honeyed fruit notes. Slightly spicy and saline. Incredibly layered and complex on the palate, quite a bit broader and richer then the excellent "standard" Auslese, but without sacrificing any of its precision or lift. Again slightly spicy with an amazing mineral spine. Very very long. Breathtaking. This will be sold at auction in autumn. 97-98+
