October 21, 2019 - Impressive, especially consider the grapes were grown on Vancouver Island. Inky red in color, Lots of black and red fruits, with subtle violet fragrance, and hints of spices that lingers one. The wine is well balanced and the fruits are still very fresh and the acidity is refreshing. This wine is far from over the hill.

December 20, 2017 - I am flabbergasted this is a Vancouver Island Estate wine! With some air, this is drinking beautifully. Castell and Agria grapes (?) go figure. What a treat. Blind I would guess a Perrin Cote de Rhone. In the glass it's opaque, like a Painted Rock. Everything about it is interesting. I am definitely going to buy more.
