September 16, 2021 - Luis Italian Wine Tasting at Broder's: Another Nebbiolo that I could tolerate (even enjoy). I am not a big Nebbiolo fan, but this was a Barolo that I could drink, which says a lot! My only complaint with this wine is that it is still quite acidic (tannins were rounded and ok, but acid stood out) I think with a little more time, the acids would have enough presence to keep the wine lively without taking center stage. Nice dose of red fruit, some leather and some spice. Not a very complex Barolo, but a very pleasant one. This wine perplexes me a little because I fear additional time to calm the acidity may also adversely impact the fruit....hard to say which will be better. 91-92 points, and may improve slightly with some additional age.

September 16, 2021 - Italians at Broder's (Broder's Pasta Bar, Minneapolis): Medium red plus color. Drank a glass over an hour. Already rather approachable, dark red berries, bright with dried spices, licorice, medium bodied and nice round tannins. 91+(+)pts.

September 4, 2021 - Decanted 1+ hr. Translucent ruby peachy color with long legs. Aroma is very Mineraly graphite with hints of watermelon, strawberries, leather. Dry, highly acidic, strawberries, light-to-medium tannins, medium structure. Very refreshing wine.
