April 2, 2021 - better than the last one, but still a little non-descript (I guess that's what you get for $50 in Napa). Smells and tastes like CA cabernet, just without a lot of complexity or interest. See if the remaining 1/2 does better tomorrow.

March 9, 2018 - Hope this is better on day 2, because on day 1, this was pretty non-descript. For a ripe vintage, this came across as more thin and slightly weedy with a vibrant currant and cherry acidity, not mouth filling at all with sweet fruit. I like French wines, so appreciate the leaner style, just did not expect it from a 2013 Napa cab. Sure that there are many very disappointed with showings like this. Worked fine with the steak.....
