March 12, 2024 - In a good spot for me as the acidity has faded some and the wine retains just enough to balance out the lemon/peach fruit nicely. The texture is silky and the finish is layered with nice complex notes of citrus and clove-like spices.

January 2, 2024 - A super complex wine. Nose showcased notes of clarified butter, nuts, apples, minerality, ripe pear, and citrus fruit. Really something else.
There was great harmony between nose and palate with an almost creaminess mouthfeel with a very long aftertaste. The acidity was there as well to keep this wine lively and exciting. What a treat. Drink now and the next 6-8 years.

December 1, 2023 - Portland Paulee (Oregon Historical Society, Portland OR): Oh how I wish I had a full bottle of this and not just a generous pour. Still, at least it's in my glass! This is just sexy as the tones of red apples, bosc pears, quince, navel oranges, flint, cream peaches, custard, saline, and acacia flowers meld beautifully together. I just want to smell this for the next 30 minutes straight! There is excellent depth and balance as well that carries through on the Medium/full bodied feel and crisp, medium acidity. The feel is just seamless. This does feel like it's right in its window as the acidity has pulled back a fair bit and has become well-integrated while the finish just doesn't want to quit. The acidity does give me some worry as to how long this will further age, but this is Carpe Diem time and I'm absolutely Carpe-ing the Diem right here!

October 27, 2023 - 2002 Beaune and Volnay Premier Crus (San Francisco): Yellow color. Some sulfur at first that dissipates. Medium bodied, mixed citrus, and livelier acidity than the Dancer wine. It opens nicely and becomes creamier. Classy but unexciting now. Could be excellent over time.

July 22, 2023 - First Ramonet. Pale straw gold color. Nose of matchstick, white stone, ethereal alpine flowers, grapefruit, apple slice, a bit of petrol. Layers of firm white grapefruit, diesel, flint, almond, apple core, and a touch of vanilla on the palate. Strong stony spine and brilliant acidity. Long finish of citrus, stony tart white fruit, and tensile precision. Young and fine, exhibiting more harmony and frank beauty with air. This will undoubtedly improve.
