December 25, 2016 - Christmas Day 2016 (Walnut Creek, Ca.): Nose of red and black cherry fruit, currants, and dusty earth, same on the palate, big body, showing its age like many 1997 Cabernet Sauvignons, easy to enjoy the delicious mouth filling fruit, very tasty, very good but not great, long finish.

December 24, 2009 - very enjoyable. Silky, smooth very well balanced, good bouquet. At it's peak.

February 4, 2009 - Impressive balance and length, among the best Cabs I've had from Napa. This wine deserves much greater recognition. B

December 20, 2008 - Last of 3 bottles I got from the winery's club...drinking outstanding. This wine is such a terrific expression of the unique terroir of the Stag's Leap district, wish I had more. Soft and sliky, balanced perfectly. Medium bodied cab with tanins and oak smoothly integrated into the wine...cherry and strawberry flavors, beautiful color . A real treat.
