December 12, 2015 - Winery tasting. Very impressively balanced, and concentrated given the challenging vintage. Very Bordeaux like in style and approach. A great mix of red, blue, and blackberries with some hints of spice, olives, and herbs. Medium weight. The tannins, acidity and judicious use of oak are all in complete harmony, thus making this approachable and drinkable now and for the next 5-8 years. Enjoyed better than the winery's 2012 Cabernet which although excellent surprised me based on the vintage.

July 25, 2015 - Plum and dark red/purple fruits. Lots of oak and earthy notes. moist dust. Bordeaux like, but a bit 'forced'. Not integrated like an aged bordeaux, somewhat disjointed, but still quite nice.
