March 28, 2017 - Big alcoholic nose with only a hint of fruit. Still a bit young and tannic. Not rounded off yet, but softens with red meat.

December 29, 2016 - Christmas Dinner (Novi, MI): Holiday celebration at parents. Drank blind with 3 other wines. Unanimous last place - "no flavor" and bland.

October 12, 2016 - Good color. The nose is subtle, showing aromas of dark berries, spice, cedar and earth. This is medium bodied on the palate with ok concentration and fairly good class. The medium plus length finish features civilised tannins. Too soft though...
