February 27, 2021 - Tasted on day 2. Dark garnet color. Tasted along side of the 2011 Stone Cairn which was also excellent. Paired nicely with a lamb sausage from Chef Kim of Januik. Some strong currents here. Tannins have faded but firm acid provides plenty of grip and balance. Good persistence. Nice lift.

February 16, 2020 - Decanted ~2-3 hours. Cassis, blackberry, cigar box, vanilla, spice. Medium body, acidity, & tannins. Medium-long finish. Ready now, but no rush either.

March 22, 2019 - Opaque purple color in the glass. Fruit-forward, full-bodied and showing plenty of ripe fruit. Was much better after a 1 hour decant, with plush and silky tannins. Good now, but with room for further improvement over the next few years.

June 10, 2018 - Dry and bold with a bright acidity. It was better with food. We had it with Spaghetti Bolognese and we loved it. I’d say it would be even better with anything grilled on the BBQ. The tannic structure is still holding firm so if you have a bottle and can wait, id lay it down another year or so but you won’t be disappointed if you crack it open now.
