March 1, 2024 - Sehr dunkles Gelb, wirkt gereift.

February 17, 2017 - Rieslingfeier 207 Seminar:"Different Strokes for Different Slopes: Germany and Austria" (Craft Restaurant (Private Dining Room), New York, NY): Nose is saline, yellow-golden (broth), soap, rosemary, stony-slatey, peach and peach pit. Enters with peach on the palate and the salty broth - golden finish. Strikes me as somewhat Austrian in style. Nose - 4.5-5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 14.5-15/20.

February 17, 2017 - Rieslingfeier 2017; 2/17/2017-2/18/2017 (NYC): Citrus flavors of lime, ripe apricot, slate, white flowers, and white pepper. very high acid. med(+) finish impresses. This is a gray slate site, with a slope of 44%. Really enjoyed this.

November 30, 2016 - I really like Eva Fricke's wines - they show fantastic purity, concentration and balance. The 2015 Krone is my favourite of her 2015s, but it needs quite a bit of time to open up at the moment, with a lovely creaminess emerging. Excellent. Drink from 2020 (ideally 2025). 94+pts
