August 28, 2016 - Bottle was in excellent condition: good cork, fill level. No sign of browning whatsoever. Dominated by fairly harsh tannins after 20 years and high acidity level. Lacks the texture you would expect, the subtleties, the complexity...With this little charm after 20 years, I'm not sure that it would show more 10 years from now. Not flawed but lacks the elements you expect in an aged 1er cru

-high acidity, med concentration/weight with sappy earthy tart cherry, aggressive tannins on med length finish
