September 26, 2021 - Red/brown. Dusty/cedary aroma. Earthy-scented tar and tea flavour. Hint of red fruit. Very acidic. Mellow, but fading.

January 19, 2020 - Way past its peak; strong brown color which continues to a brown nose with some oxidation. Did not improve with time even after decanting. A few hints of leather but overall disappointing.

September 9, 2018 - Drinking really very well, all three bottles were smooth, fruity and as good as I could have hoped. Very pleased with it.

September 17, 2013 - Popped and poured. Ripe and mature black fruit aromas with lots of forest floor, plenty of anise, cigar box and menthol. Similar balance of remaining fruit and earth flavors with good concentration. Very nice overall, even if slightly muddy at very end.

September 19, 2011 - NY/NJ WLTV Offline (Fonda Del Sol, NYC): I was a little surprised at how good the color still was: medium dark garnet. Very earthy nose that seemed distinctly mossy that does open up slightly to reveal some vanilla. Hints of cherry initially on the palate but otherwise mostly flat. Medium to medium high tannin and medium acid.
