March 11, 2020 - Interesting......coravined a few glasses of this a month ago. For whatever reason this didn't bleed out like so many other coravined wines do. Still fresh and vibrant tonight with the bottle opened. Still a slightly sweet, fragrant black fruit nose. Big weight on the mouth with balanced acidity and tannins. Well made wine! No hint of tartness to the fruit, no weakness in the mid palate. Has a strong dark fruit/tannic finish tied together with perfect acidity. This was not my fav Chad when purchased but it's beginning to sing a bit now. Has been through it's dumb phase, another year and could easily be a 93-94 or more. Great qpr.

March 20, 2018 - Lots of good flavor but not that complex. Perhaps would have been better to open earlier in the day to allow it to develop.

September 22, 2017 - Nose of cassis, blue/black fruit, slight briary notes....heavy influx of tar, coffee and licorice throughout with plenty of cedar and moderate tannins...it all tames a bit over 2 hours in the glass but some dry chalky/chewy tannins remain along with some black fruit. Drinking quite well right now with a nice acidic 30+ second finish. This is good now but should be even better in another 5+ years......

August 14, 2017 - Relatively dry for a cab. Definitely ready to drink now or within a year. Needs time to decant.
