December 10, 2020 - Incredible nose. Impressive body, initial impact is sweeter than I was expecting with hints of lime. The sweetness gives way to a long dry finish with lemon barley and slate minerality.
As I often find with German Riesling, even "dry" wines can be sweeter than I prefer, as is the case here. Nonetheless this is a high quality wine which was a pleasure to drink.1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 30, 2016 - I really like Eva Fricke's wines - they show fantastic purity, concentration and balance. I initially preferred the concentration of the 2015 Schlossberg over her Krone, but with air finally preferred the Krone. The Schlossberg will drink well without much age, and has fantastic length with plenty of slate. Very impressive. 93pts
