February 13, 2021 - Ok, this might not the best Faugeres I've ever had, but it is quite well made. I don't see all these issues with carbonic maceration; the wine might have gone through whole cluster fermentation, but I don't think it impacted it in a negative way. Quite elegant actually, and it shows moderation on the alcohol level. Right in the sweet spot right now. Just enjoy it!

August 17, 2018 - Meh. Not so good this time. It's got that kind of carbonic, Beaujolais thing, but without the freshness and brightness of good Beaujolais.

April 13, 2017 - Carbonic-city. Okay, it might be semi-carbonic, but there is definitely some going on here. This isn't bad, not at all, but it wasn't what I was expecting either. Good wine, quite different.

September 11, 2016 - Red fruit, some floral notes, lavender? Medium body, balanced tannins.

Really good and fresh to be from southern France.
