July 7, 2020 - Dark red, not translucent. Muted nose, and palate has a watery finish. It's not bad, I don't hate it. But not much flavor or texture.

November 15, 2018 - Wine was decanted for an hour.
This wine is light bodied, with muted fruit notes of cherries, red plums, and cranberries. Pronounced notes of earth, leather, and spices. Acidity is medium-high, tannins are medium. Finishes sharp and dry. In the end, there's not much here. Will not buy again, even at the $10 price point. -

August 19, 2018 - Typical sangiovese with good balanced ascid. Spicy with a nice finish. I miss a little more character. It is a little bland.

April 14, 2018 - Tuscan Tasting (Trelio, Clovis CA): 88-89 Dirty red cherry, dirt and minerals, dry rough tannin. Of the entry level Italians tasted this was one of my favorites. Solid value at ~$11 and easy mid week wine for pasta.
