  May 6, 2015 - Eye: deep garnet color. Nose: slightly musty at first but opened up to smoky cherries with vanilla and herbal notes. Palate: crisp, good fruit, full body, long finish. Tannins softening but still an enjoyable wine with power.

  September 27, 2013 - Dark purple garnet color. Nice cherries, vanilla with smoke, leather, forest nose. Great structure, dried fruit but not too prominent, good long finish. Still got it.

  January 25, 2012 - Maybe not the most intense or complex but plenty of iron and meaty notes to contemplate. On the elegant side with high acidity and little more than medium bodied. Medium plus length. Good and in it's drinking window
