June 4, 2021 - This is one of the wines that made me fall in love with Brunello some years ago. And it shows still as strong as at release, with an enormous, earthy, spicy and cherry driven palate. The earthy, smoky and darker notes are stronger in this vintage than in others by Ferrero and other makers, but they make this wine so warm and special. Subtle sweetness is accompanying a nice acidity and velvety tannins. What a treat, luckily some bottles left in the cellar, so i can report back to the limited number of holders in this group over the coming years :-).
