  November 13, 2021 - Steak dinner. Awesome wine. Nice tannins very smooth decanted 30 minutes. Blackberries and oak. Very nice. Enjoyed with Gershwin in the background.

  June 27, 2021 - Cannot fathom some of the sub-90 point scores posted here. We drank this alongside a 2000 Pontet-Canet, generously provided by our guest Joe O'Toole and this more than held its own against that renowned Second Growth. Beautifully balanced, with wonderful depth and a finish that just goes on and on, echoing notes of espresso, licorice and mineral. Very, very Bordeaux-like. Could not possibly ask for more in an Alexander Valley Sonoma cabernet at this price point.

  May 9, 2021 - Really weak for the price. It is not very fruit forward which is OK but the back of the wine is very bitter, not just lots of tannins, but almost a metallic taste. I let half the bottle sit for a day to see if it would get better, but it didn’t.
