July 30, 2022 - NOSE: Late July breeze. Floral. Pear. Buttered almonds. MOUTH: steady, subtle movements. Round. Firm. Stiff with blanched stone. Blooming orchard. Green fig. Droplet sized drinks are sufficient to immerse in its story; I mention this because otherwise I might be tempted to drink it rather quickly. Sublime stuff. If you know a place n the Great Lakes region where I can buy recent vintages, plz clue me with a comment.

May 14, 2021 - Bright, pale color. It fills an auditorium with earthy and floral perfumes with all the seismic impact of a pea under a stack of mattresses. It’s easy to see how such a thing could inspire a global industry dedicated to Chardonnay-based simulacra. Lightly toasted and salted nuts. Buttered pears, spiced with oak. But these are slogans in the form of aroma. The main event consists of chewing on a 60°F drink of it. This action breaks open the skin of flavor that holds it together, allowing salted calories to surge forth. Swift and agile.. A complex, narrative tapestry of botanical reward. Here are some of the things to be tasted in it: honey, milk, strawberries, whole lemons, lobster mushrooms, chalky clay, plum blossoms, and adolescent moments of clarity. If it were a contest between sweet and salty, sweet would have the upper hand, but only just. This is a good time to be drinking this vintage. It might be one of the best examples of what can be gained from medium age in a cellar (5-10 years.)

February 17, 2021 - Excellent QPR for Burgundy. Good saline floral nose. Ripe pear, apple, mineral on a broad palate. Lime and mineral on finish. Stands up to being warm. Overall very good especially for the price.

March 15, 2020 - Nice, smooth, gentle. But pretty ordinary.
