December 30, 2021 - I've had this on several occasions, and liked it so much I bought quite a lot. Over the years it has developed nicely, and while there are lots of reports that say this is over the hill I think it's still doing brilliantly. I have had one or two corked bottles, but on the whole they are signing. While this might appear thin, I think it really is very rich on the perfume scale and more than makes up for it - I prefer delicate to "thin" but think its an uncomplicated red which I will try and track down more modern vintages to see if it is the same.

May 26, 2021 - Savory, sharp, well enough fruited Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge. Rhubarb, unripe strawberry nose. Mouth of pomegranate, raspberry, tea. A little thinnish (like many C-M Rouges) but very enjoyable especially for the $22 price point.

June 16, 2020 - No formal notes, but this is a nice meal wine. Crunchy and slightly spicy. Easy going and gulpable. Chassagne rouge is an underrated space in the wine world and here's hoping it stays that way, at least relative to the rest of Burgundy.

April 24, 2020 - Yet again, this delights with its smoky, cherry menthol fruit

April 19, 2020 - This had the energy that the preceding Fourrier Solon lacked - and, as usual, that enticing cherry, smoke, menthol and earth quality.
