November 22, 2021 - This is a nicely structured Pinot, with a fairly simple profile to it that never quite moved beyond plain old red cherry. Delicate, and very well composed, I found myself being torn between its textural qualities/balance, and it's relatively simple red cherry fruit. Nothing wrong with this on the whole, but I did find myself expecting more complexity.

December 7, 2018 - PnP and slow ox in my extra large PN glasses for 45 minutes before dinner. Varietally correct semi translucent bright ruby red color. Nose is berries, spice and earth. Well integrated oak on both nose and palate for whatever this saw? This is deftly balanced, elegant, weightless and energetic Oregon PN that isn't as hefty as most other 2014 Oregon PNs I've had. This drinks closer to 2011 & 2013 Oregon PNs. Tasty layers of; red fruit, spice, earth, mineral and light underbrush. One of those Oregon PNs in a blind tasting that may pass for Beaune or Volnay. A lower 13% Alc positively helps any US red. Terrific value for $35 I paid.

August 3, 2018 - Gorgeous! We brought this to Dundee Bistro tonight to follow an Eola Amity Hills Chardonnay and it didn’t disappoint! Everything I love in an Oregon Pinot, earthy, nice red fruits on the nose, light in alcohol, but packed with substance. A very well done WV Pinot that will last a very long time in the cellar but is very charming right now!!! Rating is probably a bit conservative, we will see how some of our remaining bottles progress.
