April 27, 2022 - Disgorged in 2019. Light to medium lemon colour. Floral and light herbal notes, citrus, ripe lemon, kumquat, quince, apple, melon, brioche, a hint of smoke, and light pebbly minerality, with fresh acidity and good length. The mousse is medium-fine and perceived as creamy. A good Franciacorta. Thins out towards the end, drink now.

October 24, 2021 - Stone fruits, good acidity, minerally. Some citrus. Nice perlage and mousse. A good Franciacorta.

Light stone fruit notes, quince, ripe lemon, tobacco, biscuit and almond paste are joined by a herbal aspect on the finish, with medium-fine mousse, medium-level acidity and good length of the pleasantly dry finish. Very harmonious.

November 13, 2020 - Pale yellow with stream of tiny bubbles.
Very nice and quite intense nose with notes of ripe pear, quince , almond paste, flowery.
it’s young and complex with intertwined flavours of Ripe pears, cooked apples and quince playing on the palate. dry, medium body, balanced acidity and a soft sparkle make for a very soft appealing mouthfeel. Very good length.
Very nice Franciacorta.
As per my previous notes, Berlucchi’s 61 range is excellent and very good value. -

November 6, 2020 - I just love the subtle complexity of this Berlucchi Franciacorta. The 61 cuvees are just amazing. I might be biased a bit by the number though. It 's not just the first Berlucchi metodo Classico that came into the world that year... .
The mix of perfectly mature yellow fruit is so enjoyable. Beautiful balance and good depth. Dusty vanilla flavour and bready notes illustrate the use of the classic method. This is all so refined and well made, it can rival any of the well known champagnes. Great! I need to order some more...
