May 20, 2018 - Sunday blinds (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. Very little acidity, with just a little bit of spritz on the palate. A little tropical and some high-toned aldehydic character. A lot of alcohol on the palate too. I guessed young Alsatian pinot gris; in fact, no one at the table got to GV, since this didn't have any clear green characteristics, and no one at the table had the "testicular fortitude" to call a wine that tasted like this GV.

December 2, 2016 - from 375ml, a very full and flavorful wine, rather viscous and states 13% alc, typical flavors of more flowers/honeysuckle and some herbs the problem for me is the lack of acidity to cleanse the palate. Warm year and it shows. Will try remainder of bottle tomorrow.
