October 9, 2023 - Served blind, this wine was singing tonight. Loaded with ripe dark fruits, vanilla, silky smooth, full bodied with a lengthy finish. This has just entered it's drinking window where it will hold for the following 2 decades. Fabulous Cab!

May 7, 2022 - Hot pepper, some vegetation, some sweetness.
    Some tannin left (medium tannin)
The wine had medium plus acidity.
    Aroma/flavor intensity was little lacking.

January 30, 2022 - Alas...our last bottle. This was the epitome of a fine California Cabernet. Made in the old school way; understated, but built to age gracefully. This punched way above its weight - outstanding.

April 17, 2018 - This wine is just now entering the prime drinking window and should stay there for several years. Slow ox for an hour. Deep, dark purple in the glass. Served slightly chilled. Fragrant nose of blackberry, plum, rose pedals and forest floor. Soft upon entry, opening to flavors of dark cherry, boysenberry, tobacco, milk chocolate, sage and vanilla. Medium weight mouthfeel that was rich yet supple, with decent depth and complexity. Balanced with enough tannic structure to support the wine without becoming overpowering. A soft but lingering finish. This wine encompasses everything we have come to expect from this producer: a balanced cabernet that has supple power and depth while maintaining balance from beginning to end. Excellent!
