  September 16, 2012 - A nose of fresh blackberries, blueberries, cassis and vanilla. Fresh black fruit on the palate, with pepper, vanilla with a slight tang of acidity. Tannins are still present but not overwhelming. A fresh, tasty wine that should hold up for at least a few more years.

  October 23, 2011 - Very mineral nose - unmistakable chalk dust plus some pencil shavings. Ripe grape jelly flavor leading to a peppery blackberry finish. Presence of residual sugars makes it almost dessert-like.

  October 16, 2010 - These last few bottles have not been ideally stored over the last one or two years, still, if you have this wine you better drink up in time. As the fruit gradually weakens, clearly the oak and also some rather hot/heavy alcohol come through more and more. On its way down

  July 9, 2010 - Consistent with previous note. I like this wine while it's still quite tight immediately upon opening and decanting, later the oak becomes too dominant.
