November 1, 2013 - Giuseppe Rinaldi (Wine Market Bistro - Baltimore): Now we have moved to the big leagues. All the typical Piedmonte characteristics seen in the previous wines are dialed up in this one. Deep, mostly red, but some dark fruit, floral, perfume, tar, spices on the nose, just intoxicating. The palate did not disappoint either, round, plush, deep, polished tannins that are not yet completely resolved but in now way offensive. Wonderful, lingering finish. Just a plain lovely wine.
