April 3, 2024 - Last of 13 bottles - I guess we liked this one. Perhaps a small step back, but similar to my note from 2017 on this one. Lemon oil and tropical notes with a hint of oak.

August 2, 2023 - I took a flyer on a bottle that was on sale.
Very happy I did because this was complex and drinking at peak. Took about 1 hour to reveal but after that this had a very attractive popcorn/sesame brittle/clarified butter note to it that I’ve only really encountered regularly with higher end white burg.
Palate starts out a little monolithic but blossoms with fruit and acidty. Cooked orchard fruits, baked apple, cinnamon. Great balance.
Whilst at peak, this can probably go a few years longer. Impressive stuff!1 person found this helpful Comment -

April 10, 2022 - A really beautiful chardonnay. Almost a year since I last tried a bottle. The nose is floral. The palate was white flowers, pear, melon and hints of almonds. The finish was long. Served with Sunday night Sushi.
