March 14, 2024 - Excellent, silky, rich and deep Burgundy
Far better than last bottle 2 years before, that may have been flawed
Fruit lurking in background, acid noticeable but not overwhelming, fine tannin gives framing, tertiaries beginning to become prominent - forest floor and dried red berries -

August 10, 2023 - This is drinking beautifully right now. 2 hour decant after 6 hours standing. We had it with fish, which seemed a bit unorthodox, but I wanted to try it, and it really paired well with halibut and mushrooms with samphire. A little sediment. Garnet red. Not much glass structure but plenty of herbal nose with floral notes and good mouth-filling acidity, which really endures. We had the last bottle of this 4 or5 years ago, and it wasn’t ready, but it definitely is now.
