February 7, 2019 - The best thing about this Barbera is the nose. I agree with others that the wine is out of balance with the sourness dominating all other elements. It requires food.

February 2, 2018 - Classic barbera. Make sure to decant or give it some time to open up. Sour chery, red currant, underbrush. Super dry, interesting oaky tannin and very high acidity. Have it with food.

August 30, 2017 - Just too acidic to appreciate flavors

March 4, 2017 - Delicious easy drinking wine. Bright red fruit with great acidity making it food friendly. Really well made wine for the price point.

December 24, 2016 - Dark reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe red fruit aromas of raspberries, cherries & mulberries with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, spice notes, dried herbs & minerals. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, raspberries & plums, earthy, spices & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & has potential for further development with several additional years of aging.
