April 13, 2016 - Vinitaly 2016; 4/10/2016-4/13/2016 (Verona, Italy): Montepulciano 15yo vines, 12 months in oak and 6 months in bottle before release. The nose is a bit strange, high notes of red apple, red fruit, spicier, sweet but not too much. The palate is round, lacking complexity, quite tight, 14% alcohol, tight tannins, again high notes of red apple, med concentration and almost mineral finish
