July 21, 2023 - Surprisingly fresh and fruity for its age. Fresh aromas of strawberries and cherry. Nice mouthfeel, red berries, some minerality and salt, ripe meat and autumn leaves as a backdrop on the pallate. It has acquired a bit of tartness, but nothing significant. I expected nothing, but was positively surprised.

Et par la bande, deux ans après le dernier...
Il a un beau nez de vieux bois. Très vieux.
Un disque orangé souligne le pourtour, et la couleur dominante demeure bien sûr le grenat.
Les tannins , épuisés, sont sensiblement polis .
Ce ne sera jamais un vin dense (millésime oblige), mais le fruit (la groseille) surnage malgré tout sans problème
dans un assemblage épicé tirant sur le thym.
L'amertume en finale est significative, mais ne dépare pas le vin,
malgré le style quelque pau agreste.
Il a fini par être prêt !
