June 3, 2022 - An old favourite. Lots of well developed flavours. Pineapple and lemon fruit combo. Plenty of oak and fruity flavours.

June 2, 2022 - Dark yellow colour. Now 8 years old. Label says will develop over 8 years. Entering peak drinking window. It is a powerful luscious wine. Developed caramel flavours with plenty of honey oak and sweet yellow stone fruit flavours. Fruit from South Leongatha. Someone should get there and plant some more Chardonnay. Love it!

November 10, 2020 - Drank 2014 Bass Phillip Chardonnay Premium alongside 2016 Jean-Claude Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets. Not a fair comparison, as Bass Philip was one of the best white I drank from Australia. Buttery, creamy, mineral, very good quality. Very approachable.

2016 Jean-Claude Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets exhibit citrus and stone fruits. Developing. With cream, oak, cedar notes. Medium+ acidity. Rounded. Much prefer between the 2, but again the price point is almost 3 times as well.
