August 3, 2016 - A pioneering wine moment for me. My first fruit wine in Thailand and unlikely to be my last. As per most decent 'fruit wines' most of the juice is proper varietal gear (in this case cab sav) with an addition of fruit juice to get around local excise regimes. NV and I am assuming NSW sourced. Palate is on the light side but clearly varietal with blackberry and subtle herbs. A little chalky tannin to finish but the fruit does fade somewhat. Outstanding value locally at 250 baht (A$10) considering basic Jacob's Creek and Yellow tail goes for 650 baht+.
