January 12, 2017 - Been 5 yrs since I last had this...little worried about the dried seepage top the cork...but it poured out a beautiful golden yellow with green color. Fresh citrus and tropical fruits...pretty substantial in weight, seems denser with minerality and a good dose of spice. Lemon, grapefruit citrus cut of acidity(love 04!)...chalky crushed limestone, dried honey, white flowers, sea air...creamed up nicely with some sautéed green apples in butter to go with the hefty structure. Not so subtle and shy as before...this lady is out to party! Drinking VERY well...with plenty years left.

August 24, 2011 - This needed time to open, and also best when it got to cellar temp from the fridge. Nice golden yellow, green tinge color. Cool sea breeze air, lemons and honey, dusty limestone quarry, spiced green apple nose. Creamy in the mouth, yet has the '04 cut to it! Not really bursting with flavors..more subtle..but kind of nice, to the super structured feel! Lemons, melons, spiced apple, honey butter, chalky minerals, white florals.....I dig this Duj!

July 17, 2006 - A few days in Burgundy; 7/13/2006-7/17/2006 (Cote d'Or): Rich, ripe, and opulent melon and orange flavors with hints of banana. Tangy acidity. Never really fully focused or balanced flavors, and while I can't say it's really flabby, it does seem to walk that line that too many Côte de Nuits whites cross.
