April 1, 2022 - Inviting, delicately earthy nose of red fruit, pencil shavings, leather, dried leaves, sage, lavender, and dark chocolate, superbly balanced, savory palate of early-picked wild strawberry and pomegranate with notes of mocha, cola, white pepper, orange zest, baking spice, and a hint of cinnamon, well-integrated, soft, round tannins, medium-long finish.

January 23, 2022 - Deep garnet color. Fragrant Aromas and flavors of strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate, dark chocolate and black tea. Touch of earth and black pepper on the finish. Brimming with acidity. Tart and tangy. Light to medium bodied. Firm structure. Quite gritty but also elegant at the same time. Well made.

November 22, 2019 - Silky palette of cranberry and strawberries, with hints of cedar, flowers, leather, and wet stones. Sleek, balanced acidity, fine tannins, and a medium finish with a distinctive black cherry lift. Light-bodied-plus, an elegant mouthfeel, and lean fruit. Graceful coastal pinot, at the start of an attractive drinking window. Benefits greatly from several hours of air.

August 26, 2019 - light ruby with amber rim; prominent tearing; cranberry, crushed flowers, herbs, leather, hints of damp earth; light bodied, cranberry, wild strawberry, good length; medium+ acid, light tannins, 13.5% ABV; made from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from Flowers estate vineyard on the extreme Sonoma Coast; a pretty wine although the fruit is a bit subdued; $75

June 15, 2019 - Under Coravin. 6 oz pour at Wine Time on Main in Sioux Falls, SD. Medium ruby, going orange at rim. Expanding flavors of dark fruit (blueberry?), earth and slightly sour cherry. Plus a tiny bit of barnyard funk on the nose. Elegant mouthfeel. Seamless. Not much acidity left; ultra fine tannins nearly fully resolved. This is a really nice, medium-body wine that seems velvety in the mouth, with a little grip. 30-second finish. 90 points. Drink through 2021.
