March 22, 2024 - I had a case of this and plainly drank most too early. I’m on bottle 10 now and with some time in the decanter, it’s drinking well. Big, rich, rounded. No hard edges, none of the tannin from, say, 5 years ago. Like a barolo from 2 decades ago that needs time to shake out. The last 2 should wait a few years - this is coming into its own now, but needs 3+ years. Could be 92-94 then. If you have one, wait. If you have a few, try one now and then wait for the rest. And tell me what you think.

January 29, 2023 - A bit lumpen and tart. Disappointing

October 16, 2022 - This has developed pretty nicely over the last couple of years and somehow feels fresher now than it did on release. The color in the glass is jarringly bright - the magenta hues make it resemble something much younger. It still has the rich, hearty fruit and rustic tannin I remember but the shape is much more lithe. Not the direction I'd have guessed this was going to go in, but a nice surprise. It is also still very minerally with a moist stoniness like licking dark cavern walls.

February 16, 2021 - Consistent w/ Aug note. A bit more acidics on the front with a pomegranate edge. Still same dark broody core.

    November 13, 2020 - First bottle of a case.
    Medium garnet.
    Fragrant, floral dark fruit nose.
Full bodied, black fruits, some oak, tannins well integrated.
    Outstanding wine.
It should have 10+ years of life and might improve.
