  March 24, 2021 - Drank like a $15-$20 grocery store shelf turd... candied cherry and raspberries. Jumbled mess. Alcohol showed greatly on the finish, at 14.75, but drank like a 17+ wine... poured the last 1/3 down the drain.

  August 26, 2020 - Tasting great now - still balanced and flavorful
  Clear, deep ruby with medium garnet meniscus. High viscosity.
  More complex on the nose. Cherry, raspberry and blueberry are accompanied by rich oak aromas of both vanilla and cocoa. Gravel and slight flowery notes as well. Palate shows full fruit with the reds dominating - and the secondary notes of gravel and slate are still there - albeit secondary to the fruit and oak.
  Dinking well now - I think it will also last a while.

  March 25, 2020 - Full with rich dark fruit, though not super jammy. Quite good.

  December 28, 2019 - Opened bottle for 60 minutes (but did not decant). Really nice depth with great fruit that paired well with our blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries...as well as our smoked pork ribs.

  January 19, 2019 - Decanted for 40 minutes. Nicely balanced with good fruit, touch of acid and good depth. Lingering finish.
