June 7, 2019 - Delightful! A lot of sediment so be careful pouring. Sorry to hear someone got corked wine, ours were perfect. blackberry, herbs and coffee on the nose. Has a nice balanced palate with prune, fig, a bit of earthiness and medium oak. Clean moderate finish that doesn't pucker, but also doesn't leaving you wanting. My last bottle. sigh.

May 21, 2016 - Holy Chocolate! I have not had many wines from bordeaux of a higher quality.
The sight is hazy with a deep reddish purple
The nose is dark berries stewed in with chocolate and red eye coffee, black cherry licorice.

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are fast. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, red currant, espresso, coffee, medium toast, clove and soy sauce. It tastes like blackberry, prune, fig, forest floor, mushroom, medium toast, espresso, toast and lead pencil. The body is full. The wine has fleshy texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

March 30, 2015 - Purchased 2 bottles in 2008 from Cynthia Hurley wine importer, laid down in temperature controlled wine refrigerator since. Opened 1 bottle a week ago and was bad, ok chalk it up to a bad bottle... Opened 2nd bottle tonight, also corked, completely awful... Really disappointing, thought the 2005's were supposed to hold up. Contacted Cynthia Hurley after first bottle, they no longer ship to texas, and don't feel they can warrant the product being out of their hands so long.....
