October 6, 2021 - Opened 4 hours before tasting, the wine was surprisingly young at the start with a very pale color showing few signs of evolution.

The nose develops on notes of hazelnuts and honey, with a beautiful, well-integrated toast.

On the palate, the juice is ample and concentrated. It is racy, noble but above all, the freshness of the wine, thanks to its acidic texture, is striking. The wine reveals itself in several facets, sometimes floral and expressive on a background of tropical fruit, it then undergoes a metamorphosis with powerful aromas of nuts and toast. It's very complex, but it still lacks a bit of structure because these elements don't seem to fit together. The finish, on the other hand, is the major asset of this wine. It is simply masterful. It's oily and explodes impressively in the mouth to line anything it touches. Rarely seen this for a white, with an all saline and stony length that stretches almost endlessly.

This is excellent, especially for the grandiose finish.

April 15, 2021 - Beautiful wine drinking at peak. Based on this bottle limited upside in waiting too much longer.

March 9, 2019 - Drunk at Fishteria in Hong Kong - Definitely white of the night for me. Elegance and balance are the words that come to mind. An amazing example of the subtle use of oak to provide the backbone that allows beautiful fruit to express its minerality. Very moreish! I'm not convinced the CT drinking window is even close here, this wine has a lot more in the tank I think.

May 28, 2018 - Having been impressed by the magnum of the 2004 Marc Colin Montrachet 3 years ago, the regular bottle certainly did not disappoint. Beautiful Monty that had honey, minerals, hazelnut, straw and spearmint. A very elegant montrachet that kept evolving in the glass with layers. Drinking very well now.
