June 22, 2018 - Definitely needed some decanting, 2-3 hours. Earthy notes with black cherry on the nose. Taste was full of fruit with some leather and pepper notes, again black cherry with a hint of chocolate and cassis. Tannins were very present but not overbearing , well balanced and a medium to long finish. Overall a very nice wine, could maybe have done with more time but very enjoyable.

February 5, 2018 - Bottle was better after 24 hours. Ruby red in color, plum and cherry finish. Let the bottle air out for a while before you drink.
