January 15, 2013 - Still has everything. Last bottle of a case consumed over 8 years. Cherries, and a growing earthy component. Probably best to drink any remaining bottles before too long.

March 11, 2012 - This wine has held up incredibly well, particularly given the hot vintage from which it hails. In the glass, it is dark brick in color with aromas of earth, black cherry, and leather. On the palate, the fruit is showing that it has aged gracefully; gone are the fresh, vibrant, and juicy flavors and in their place are more dried fruit characteristics. The mouth feel is extraordinary, with tremendous structure and a medium-long finish. For me, this wine has peaked and I was pleased with how the final bottle from my cellar showed.

September 6, 2011 - Bayhouse in restaurant Lincoln City

    Thin, faded ring
    Nose: Wet blanket
Palate: dry, balanced, super long finish, lots of earthiness, celery, green leaf

Incredible example of an Oregon Pinot

July 30, 2011 - wow! This wine is even more impressive than our the last time we had it! Lots of excellent cherry with just the right amount of earth. Nice long wonderful finish. Glad we still have another bottle!
